It remains unaltered from its original three-way switch specifications. ◆ Prior to listing, I replaced the strings with new Ernie Ball Super Slinky (009-042), polished the frets, and maintained the fingerboard with lemon oil, so it’s ready for immediate use. ◆ This guitar was in the hands of a single owner for 45 years until it came to me in January 2023. The previous owner purchased it new directly from Yamano Music in Ginza. It was custom ordered with a black pickguard and PU cover, hat knobs, and caps for the 3-way switch and tremolo arm cover, replaced with Fender’s original white parts at the time of delivery, perhaps to mimic Richie Blackmore’s specifications from Deep Purple’s third phase.
