Clerical script hanging scroll in the handwriting of calligrapher Sanmuro Koishii, listed in the Japanese Art Register. The artist holds the position of Vice Director of Nippon Calligraphy Art Association and President of Mizuki Calligraphy Institute. This is an authentic and valuable work. Approximately 10 years ago, the piece was restored by a local framing shop due to some wear and damage. The work bears the artist's signature and seal stamp (shown enlarged in separate frame), adding to its value. This is considered a "Japanese treasure" - a work of genuine calligraphy by Sanmuro Koishii in clerical script style. The piece was directly passed down to the seller's father by Koishii himself. The seller considers this a family heirloom and reluctant to part with it, but wishes to pass it to someone who will appreciate its value.
