 Suipo Tagawa
Real name: Nakata Takamizawa. After losing his mother at a young age, he was raised by his aunt and uncle, influencing his interest in art through his uncle's practice of Southern-style painting. After completing elementary school, he went into service, but at 20 he joined the military. After 2 years of military life, he entered the Nihon Bijutsu Gakkō (Japan School of Art) and participated in the avant-garde art group "Mavo" led by Chigiri Murayama. After graduation, he became a manga artist. In 1931, he published "Norakuro Second Class Private" in the "Shonen Club", telling the story of a stray dog, Norakuro, who joins a fierce dog regiment, facing various challenges with wit and humor that captured not just children but adults as well—making it a sensation at the time. The "Norakuro" series was serialized for 11 years until a writing ban was imposed in 1941. In 1969, a complete 10-volume reprint of the "Norakuro Manga Collection" was published, launching a second wave of popularity that resonated across generations. That same year, in recognition of his contribution to modern manga, he received the Purple Ribbon Medal. Suipo Tagawa passed away due to heart failure on December 12, 1989, at the age of 90.

You may already know, but due to both the quantity and quality, this is the finest collection of Norakuro manga. It includes hand-drawn illustrations by the author.
This collection has been lovingly maintained, but I am currently reorganizing and downsizing my collection of DVDs and CDs, hence putting this up for sale now. I am offering it at a reasonable price, so it would bring me great joy if someone enjoyed it in their collection.
