Collector Commentary

The Dragon Ball Heroes franchise, an extension of the iconic Dragon Ball universe, has garnered significant collector interest due to its unique blend of gameplay and character cards, particularly from the limited series like the CPSR and Itajaga concept cards. This retirement lot showcases sample cards from Series 7 and 8, representing a pivotal part of the franchise’s trading card evolution, which began in 2010 and has become increasingly popular among fans. The cards, being unused and one-owner pieces, are in relatively good condition, essential for collectors who value both playability and preservation. With a starting bid of ¥141,000, this lot reflects the growing demand for rare assets in the Japanese collectible market, especially given the significance of sample cards in illustrating the creative process behind this popular game.
