After working as an assistant to Osamu Tezuka, he became a manga artist alongside Shotaro Ishinomori. He has created many sci-fi works set in space, including 'Space Battleship Yamato'.
This piece is a rare deluxe print, limited to 200 copies, featuring the artist's hand-signed signature. The characters depicted include "Maetel and Tetsuro Hoshino from Galaxy Express 999, Mii-kun, and Tochiro" from Captain Harlock, as well as "Captain Okita, Yuki Mori, and Sado from Space Battleship Yamato" among others. This artwork allows you to immerse yourself in Matsumoto's world and encourages encounters with unknown worlds every day as you pass through your entrance.
