Born in 1975 in Nara Prefecture. Graduated at the top of his class from the Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in oil painting, and completed the doctoral program at the same university's graduate school. His works, featuring depictions of women, thoughtfully engage with nature and light, distinguishing themselves from typical realism. He has received numerous accolades, including the Museum Director's Award at the 1st Hoki Museum Grand Prize Exhibition in 2013 and the Ishibashi Foundation Award at the 5th Aoki Shigeru Memorial Western Japan Art Exhibition in 2017.
