It is a peach-shaped helmet made by Naka Hachiman Yoshiichi, which has been passed down as an armor craftsman for the Awa Hachisuka clan. Late Edo period. **Naka Hachiman Minamoto Yoshiichi Made** 【Replica of Yoshi Tsune】 Signature. It would not be an exaggeration to say it is museum-quality. A masterpiece of great category helmets made by Yoshiichi of the Awa Hachisuka clan, modeled after the work of Yoshi Tsune. The helmet features well-forged iron with overlapping sides, and the central part is accentuated with a Sawara mon expressed through hammering. It is a creation from the craftsman, referred to as Nanban helmet. The back flap is elegantly decorated with red-copperfish-scale-colored gold painting, showcasing the mon. The kabuto (helmet) is magnificent, and there is gold leafing applied to the inside. While there are some surface paint losses, the front crest in the "井" shape made with dry lacquer and gold leaf is also present. As you can see in the images, there is some degradation of the silk on the shikoro, wear and tear of the surface lacquer, damage and some loss of the inner padding, and slight dirt due to aging, but there are no significant damages. Personally, I believe the condition is very good. *The kabuto stand is not included.* I have done my best to take detailed photographs.
