Collector Commentary

This original production artwork from *Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory* represents a significant scene from the franchise's complex narrative set during the One Year War, making it a valuable piece for collectors of Gundam memorabilia. Released as part of a 1992 guidebook, this limited edition cel showcases the work of Studio Sunrise, known for its high-quality animation and attention to detail, yet it bears the marks of age, enhancing its character but detracting from its ideal condition. Given the rarity of such early 90s artwork, especially one depicting a pivotal moment like the destruction of Sydney, this piece is likely to attract serious interest among aficionados of the series looking for authentic Japanese animation art. However, potential bidders should note the visible wear, as it reflects both the historical lineage of the item and the challenges present in preserving cel animation over the decades.
