I bought this used about 10 years ago after enjoying GB1 but it has remained stored at my parents' house without being played.

・Promotional cards: Mewtwo of GR Team, Lugia
・Survey postcard
【Condition】
Despite the years since release, the software, box, manual, and cards show no significant scratches or dirt, and are in a nearly unused state. The cartridge has not been played, so I cannot confirm if it works. There is some damage to the box. The cards are placed in the original plastic bag, but they have been opened. The two cards, Lugia and Mewtwo, have not been played with Pokémon card games but from my amateur experience with old MTG, I believe they are in very good condition (likely NM or better). However, the card that describes these two cards is made of very thin paper and has slight damage at the top part, but the overall condition remains satisfactory.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. No claims or returns, thank you.

Collector Commentary
This listing features the Pokémon Card GB2: GR Team Appears! for the Game Boy Color, notable for its inclusion of the highly sought-after promo cards featuring Mewtwo and Lugia, both iconic figures from the franchise. Originally released in Japan in 2001, this game is a gem for collectors, especially considering the current condition, which is very good despite minor box damage—indicative of its age. The game's rarity, combined with the minimal wear on the promo cards, enhances its desirability among Pokémon enthusiasts and retro gaming fans alike. Given the established collector market for Pokémon memorabilia, particularly for vintage items sourced directly from Japan, this listing's current bid reflects the nuanced dynamics of demand that often drives prices in this segment.
