Rare Gibson J-45 1962 【Reissue】 Made in 1997 Vintage Acoustic Guitar

1 / 1

Description

This is a 1997 reissue model of the 1962 Gibson J-45. The model name '1962-j45' is quite rare. This model was made when Yamano Gakki was the distributor and is a rare Japanese limited edition that was custom ordered from Gibson. It embodies the meticulous attention to detail that Yamano Gakki is known for. The model accurately reproduces specifications from that era including a stamped serial number, a large pickguard, a thicker neck, and a screwed bridge. After 30 years of aging, it possesses a sound that is more than adequate for a semi-vintage instrument along with a striking presence. There are minor scratches and dents on the body and head, but there are no neck scars, and very few weather checks on the body, exceptional for a guitar of this age. Although I have owned several Gibsons, this particular guitar has a significantly emphasized bass response, resonating deeply in your chest. The dryness from 30 years has contributed to its bright sound, suggesting it has been well-played. At a guitar shop, the nut and saddle were replaced with an oil-soaked bone saddle, which cost about 20,000 yen alone. String Height: approximately 2.3mm at the 12th fret (may vary slightly with humidity) Neck: nearly straight Truss Rod: plenty of adjustment left Fret Life: over 70% Included Accessories: Original hard case (with some rust and scratches, missing the inner strap) without a key There are no cracks or repairs, but there are minor weather checks due to age and some pick marks and dents around the soundhole. Please check the photos for reference. Overall, the atmosphere of this guitar is outstanding. If you appreciate semi-vintage instruments from 30 years ago, this guitar will surely have a vibe that you love. Please note that returns cannot be accepted due to the item being used.
