Description

Thank you very much for visiting.
● This work is a highly rare garage kit produced by Mahamitra, featuring Lala Sun from Mobile Suit Gundam, sculpted by Keita Watanabe (Grenade) and modified at our workshop.
Acquiring this garage kit is already quite difficult, and as the creator, I have a special affection for this figure with its expressive features, leading to the unfortunately high price point for this item.
● Lala Sun, who appears in Mobile Suit Gundam, is depicted as Indian, resulting in a darker complexion for the figure, so please understand this.
An example of the modifications includes hollowing out the head from the neck up, opening the eyes for a custom prosthetic eye effect.
The size of the pupils is just 1.6mm, hand-crafted in our workshop, likely making them the world’s smallest prosthetic eyes.
This prosthetic eye setup achieves an expressiveness that cannot be obtained with painted eyes.
The mouth has also been opened to a slightly ajar position with teeth modeled on the inside.
This modification allows the figure to express a variety of facial expressions depending on the viewing angle.
Details of the modifications are explained further at the end, should you wish to read more.

[Product Details]
This is a modified work of the Mahamitra Garage Kit - Mobile Suit Gundam Lala Sun 1/8, sculpted by Keita Watanabe (Grenade).
□ Figure (Doll) Height: Approximately 80mm (short due to sitting position)
□ Display base Width: 153mm, Depth: 114mm, Height: 18mm (made specially at our workshop)
□ Original box included.
The kit features beautifully hidden legs beneath the skirt, prompting an attempt to reveal them, leading to an erotic design choice.
Additionally, as a details-oriented creator, I challenged myself to create custom prosthetic eyes, which took three months to complete.
Typically, ready-made prosthetic eyes are used in figure making, but a prosthetic this small is not commercially available.
In our workshop, I attempted to make a perfect fitting prosthetic for the figure myself.
Using UV resin as the material, I engaged in long hours of work under a microscope, leading to what I believe to be the world’s smallest prosthetic eyes.
As a result, I could achieve a figure with incredibly beautiful and captivating eyes that possess overwhelming expressiveness—a quality that cannot be attained with painted eyes.
Even the best-painted eyes can appear lifeless from certain angles, but this piece keeps its liveliness from all viewing angles, making it very attractive.
Since the figure has an anime face, it did not originally have a nose sculpted. Therefore, I widened the nostrils and sculpted the nasal openings to bring it closer to human likeness.
Furthermore, I added faint tear ducts, created double eyelids, adjusted the chin line, and corrected the ear shapes to enhance the beauty of the figure through numerous modifications.
To fit the prosthetic eyes, I hollowed the head out from the neck upwards and opened the mouth, modifying the lips to be slightly parted, revealing teeth from the inside.
I am certain it will surprise you how the mouth can appear both closed or open depending on the angle.
The scene where the warm legs are submerged in water is depicted with an erotic twist, as the sea breeze playfully lifts the skirt, revealing a white thigh that is strikingly different from the tanned skin.
The translucent white thigh even reveals visible veins.
The bare toes submerged in water show the index toe extended over the slightly overlapping big toe, creating an erotic depiction of the feet.
Although it may be hard to see in photos, the veins are realistically shown, as well as the wrinkles on the soles and the gaps between the toe joints.
Even the removed shoes are intricately crafted down to their undersides.
■ The eyelashes are implanted.
This technique was learned through extensive reading of the famous work by Hiroshi Tagawa, 'Pygmalion,' and practicing until I mastered it.
■ I created a display base suited for this figure.
The base is constructed from plywood, coated multiple times with sand, a very unique technique.
The miniature water surface of the diorama incorporates luminescent materials, glass beads, and snow powder, glowing fantastically when in darkness.
Since Lala Sun is depicted as Indian, I have represented her with a darker complexion, slightly tanned skin, through multiple layers of paint, using our workshop’s unique techniques to faithfully recreate the texture of her skin.
I also darkened the area around the eyes to recreate the makeup commonly seen on Indian women.
The base coat was done with beige lacquer surfacer, and the skin's basic painting was done with an airbrush. For the hair, nails, and eye area, enamel paints were used, and finished with an overall lacquer-based matte clear coat for durability, ensuring collectors can enjoy it for a long time.
However, please exercise utmost care not to touch the delicate implanted eyelashes.
[Notes]
● The basic preparation for the garage kit includes boiling for 30 minutes followed by treatment with beige lacquer surfacer.
We use ordinary acrylic and lacquer paints similar to car models, so handling this figure does not require excessive caution.
Although it has been topped with a coating, the skin part is delicate and replicates natural texture, so please avoid rubbing it too much.
**Please pay special attention, as the implanted eyelashes are extremely delicate and should not be touched.
